Washington, September 4 US police said on the 4th that a shooting occurred in the eastern Virginia city of Norfolk late on the 3rd night, killing 2 people and injuring 5 others.
According to the Norfolk City Police, the shooting happened near the local Alder Dominion University. When the police arrived at the scene, they found 7 people, including 4 women, with gunshot wounds. All the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment, and two of them died of their injuries.
It is unclear what caused the shooting, and no suspects have been arrested.
Norfolk State University said on social media the same day that several students at the school were the victims of the shooting, one of the deceased was a sophomore at the school.
