    Published on

A balloon with passengers hung on a high-voltage power line (power line) and caught fire in the area of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Lipetsk”. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Lipetsk region in the Telegram channel.

The incident happened on Wednesday, July 12th. After a collision with a power line, a fire broke out, but the passengers extinguished the fire on their own. It is noted that there are five people in the balloon basket. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Rescuers arrived at the scene and successfully evacuated the passengers. It is clarified that the blackout of the power line did not lead to a power outage in the houses, since it is a transit line. Earlier, a balloon with six passengers, including children, got stuck on a tree at an altitude of two thousand meters in the village of Solokhaul in the Lazarevsky district of Sochi. Then the people who were in the basket of the ball went down on their own before the arrival of rescuers.
