The convicts of the correctional colony made a bus stop for children, the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Novgorod region said.

According to the information of the department, the convicts fulfilled the order under the municipal contract concluded with the administration of the Poddorsky district.

The bright stop was equipped with wooden benches and metal bins. It was installed opposite the school in the village of Poddorye.

“The contract amount was 109,000 rubles, the order was completed on time by 5 condemned metalworking sections and 1 convicted carpentry section”, the message says.
