    The Aleksandrov District Prosecutor’s Office conducted an audit at the request of a local resident, who is a disabled person of the 1st group and has an oncological diagnosis. The doctor prescribed an expensive treatment for her, but the regional health department did not buy medicines. As a result, the woman had to buy the drug at her own expense. She spent more than 500 thousand rubles on this.

    The oversight agency filed a lawsuit in court demanding that the department provide a life-saving drug to the patient and reimburse her for all costs of this drug.

    The court granted the claim. Now the patient with medicines for the near future, and the money was also returned to her.
