The cause of an accident in St. Petersburg involving at least five cars was the poor health of the Infiniti driver. As Izvestia found out on July 17, a man driving a foreign car lost consciousness.
“I drove by, I called an ambulance. The driver lost consciousness. I saw how he passed out and flew into the oncoming lane. Well, there were no pedestrians,” said an eyewitness to the incident.
The driver of the car himself does not remember how the accident happened. He regained consciousness after the collision. Infiniti rammed several cars at speed, eyewitnesses added.
There were no victims, preliminary, in the accident.
Earlier that day, Izvestia obtained footage from the scene of an accident in St. Petersburg, which shows that two cars received fairly serious damage. Eyewitnesses also reported child seats lying on the road. The accident happened at the corner of the Lieutenant Schmidt embankment and the 10-11th line of Vasilyevsky Island.Share:
