Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko boasted that Russian tactical nuclear weapons were delivered to his country without anyone in the West noticing. Officials in the West left this statement without comment. Western experts, meanwhile, are trying to understand with the help of commercial satellite imagery whether nuclear weapons are already located on the territory of Belarus and, if so, where. So far, the most detailed analysis has been presented by the Federation of American Scientists, which noticed construction work near military facilities in Osipovichi, Mogilev region, and Lida, Grodno region. Experts, however, are in no hurry to draw unambiguous conclusions about their purpose.
