    The outflow of capital from Russia in 2022 may exceed $200 billion. This data was provided by BCS Global Markets.

    According to ABN, the main contribution to the statistics is made by households, which include personal remittances from Russians. From February to August, citizens transferred about $14 billion. A jump in transfers from Russia to other countries was recorded in February, totaling $3.5 billion in banking operations, the process suspended capital controls.

    In June, after a partial cancellation of transfers, the Russians transferred $5.2 billion. Basically, the money was sent to Georgia, Armenia and Kazakhstan.
