Schoolchildren from the DPR and LPR spend their summer holidays in St. Petersburg. The Donbass Children’s Assistance Fund, created by the ROSSIYA Joint-Stock Bank, presented the children with a real holiday – they saw the races at the Igora Drive autodrome with their own eyes.

On July 16, a group of 97 children arrived at the circuit. The guide told them about how everything works on Igora Drive, after which they watched the stage of the Russian championship in road racing and the stage of the St. Petersburg Cup in rallycross.

“Everything is fine. I didn’t even expect this to happen. I really like this rivalry between them. How they enter the turn is cool, ”admitted Denis Bertenev.

Victoria Butova noted the excellent organization at the event.

“Very cool here! Many emotions: shock, joy, happiness. I’ve never been to this, it’s a big event. Delicious food. It’s just very scary for them that they will break, ”she admitted.

Maxim Zhukov from Makeevka said that he had come to admire the views of St. Petersburg, and attending the races only strengthened the wonderful impressions of getting to know the Northern capital.

“I liked the cars, I liked the races themselves. This was beautiful. How they entered sideways is generally beauty, ”he admitted.

Kristina Fedoseyeva, Director General of the Donbass Children’s Charitable Foundation, for her part, noted that this is not the first time the foundation organizes such events for children from Donbass.

“On behalf of the Charitable Foundation for Helping the Children of Donbass, we invited another shift of children who came from the regions of Donbass to St. Petersburg for the summer holidays. We invited them to visit the circuit. This summer we have a whole series of such events, because during the first visits of children, we also noted that they really like this racing theme, this is all new for them, new experience, new faces. We decided to continue the series of such meetings and invitations,” she said.

Note that the children are in the Northern capital in a children’s camp at the invitation of the government of St. Petersburg.

Recall that graduates from the republics of Donbass have already visited Igora Drive in early July. Sharing their impressions, the children noted the scale of the autodrome, and some even expressed a desire to become racers.

Igora Drive is a unique project that combines technical sports and entertainment. On the territory of about 100 hectares, 54 km from St. Petersburg, there are 10 tracks for auto and motor sports and a complex of facilities built using the most advanced technologies in accordance with all world standards.Share:
