BEIJING, Dec. 5 — With the help of two tugs, the CNS Kekexilihu supply ship attached to the Chinese 42nd Naval Escort Force left the port of Djibouti after completing refueling in the port on Nov. 29 local time. .
This is the first time that the taskforce has set up a supply of equipment at the port since its departure on September 21. The taskforce carried out the resupply of equipment and fuel as planned, which will provide a reliable guarantee for the subsequent implementation of escort missions. During the entire resupply process, the task force put in placed several guard shifts and maintained a high level of vigilance throughout the day. In addition, the taskforce conducted exercises on topics such as anti-frogman intrusion given the complex situation around the port, to inspect and improve its underwater defense capabilities to ensure the safety of supply operations.
