    Chinese troops to participate in Vostok-2022 strategic exercises in Russia

    According to the ChinaRussia annual military cooperation plan and the consensus reached by the two sides, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army will send troops to Russia to participate in the Vostok (East)-2022 strategic exercise. Countries like India, Belarus, Tajikistan and Mongolia will also send troops for the exercise.

    The participation of the Chinese army in the exercise is not related to the international and regional situation but aims to deepen practical and friendly cooperation with the armies of participating countries, improve the level of strategic coordination and strengthen the ability to deal with various security threats.
