Dmitry Pronin will leave the post of general director of the Moskvich plant in order to take the position of chairman of the board of directors of the enterprise, Izvestia was told on June 27 in the company’s press service.
“We had to start production at the plant virtually from scratch. Thanks to the decision of the Mayor of Moscow, as well as the support of KamAZ, we were able to start production under the current conditions in less than six months after the decision was made to revive the Russian Moskvich brand. In my new position, I see for myself a vast horizon of opportunities associated with the development of a plant operation strategy and concentration on important key areas of production development,” Pronin said.
He has served as General Director of JSC MAZ Moskvich since May 2022. The car plant does not disclose who will now be appointed CEO. Oversight station: Prosecutor General’s Office interested in scrap collection Prosecutors found “legal uncertainty” when importing electric vehicles
