The DPR military eliminated a group of Ukrainian saboteurs near Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut). This RIA Novosti was told by a fighter of the People’s Militia (NM) of the DPR with the call sign Baikal.

The interlocutor of the agency said that aerial reconnaissance revealed the movement of two groups of saboteurs . One of them took refuge in a two-story building, and was almost completely destroyed by artillery.

The second group barricaded itself in the basement of the house, which was equipped with a bomb shelter. The DPR military began to negotiate with the enemy through the armored door, offering to surrender. The parties agreed that the commander of the Ukrainian soldiers would give an answer in half an hour. At the appointed time, the door opened. and a grenade flew from there. After that, it was decided to collapse the entrance to the bunker.

Two saboteurs survived. One of them later crawled out from under the rubble and after some time was captured. The second soldier was blown up by a mine.

Earlier, the fighters of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” announced the defeat of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Artemivsk. According to the fighter, the Kiev command uses special forces and a large number of nationalist units near Artemovsk, and due to heavy losses, the brigades were united into consolidated detachments.
