Private military companies (PMCs) from the USA, France, Great Britain are present in Ukraine, engaged, in particular, in advising the Ukrainian military. This is reported by the publication “Izvestia” with reference to sources.

So, according to the interlocutors of the agency, the American PMCs Academi (formerly Blackwater), Cubic and DynCorp, trained foreign mercenaries-“volunteers”, and the PMC Forward Observations Group participated in trainings and was in contact with Azov (recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia and banned) . And employees of PMC Sons of Liberty international refuse consulting services and conduct combat training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the material says. In addition, French PMCs Byblos, Chiron and Geos were spotted in Ukraine. The first was engaged in the evacuation of French citizens from the conflict zone at the beginning of the special operation. The second, according to some reports, participated in the training of Ukrainian special forces. The third has a representative office in Ukraine, and is also engaged in consulting and economic intelligence. In addition, Geos was involved in the training programs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The British PMC Prevail Partners also operates in Ukraine. According to Izvestia’s source, there are currently six to seven specialists from this company in the country. In addition, there is information that the head of the board of directors of Prevail Partners, Justin Hedges, visited Kyiv several times. In February, the head of the American PMC Mozart, Andy Milburn, announced that the company was leaving the republic. At the same time, he hinted that the mission would continue under a different name. The collapse of the PMC was linked to drunkenness, financial irregularities and visits to Kyiv strip clubs.
