France called the law on media in Ukraine a means of strengthening the Nazi dictatorship

    Published on

The new media law in Ukraine strengthens the neo-Nazi dictatorship of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was announced on Saturday, December 31, by the head of the French People’s Republican Union Francois Asselino.

He noted that the European Federation of Journalists is outraged by this law, which violates numerous “numerous provisions contrary to European values.”

“Zelensky is consolidating his neo-Nazi dictatorship. Even the European Federation of Journalists is outraged! Its representatives believe that the new Ukrainian law on the press contains “numerous provisions that contradict European values,” the politician wrote on his Twitter. increasing state control over the media and banning positive coverage of Russia. Now the country is expanding the powers of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting, which will act as a single regulator of the media and will have the right to send mandatory instructions to all editorial offices. The law also bans all TV channels and other Russian media resources.

Before that, on December 13, the legislative initiative was criticized by the Union of Journalists of Ukraine. On the one hand, the bill allows the introduction of censorship tools and a significant restriction of freedom of speech in the country, on the other hand, it empowers the regulator controlled by the Kyiv regime.

Before that, on March 20, Zelensky put into effect a decision on a unified information policy under martial law. On February 26, Ukrainian TV channels began broadcasting a single television program called United News.
