Russia cannot be separated from the whole world, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban pointed out this. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
“Of course, Europe can be separated from Russian energy, but this is really an illusion and will not have an effect, because Russia cannot be separated from the rest of the world. Someone else will buy Russian raw materials, and we are suffering from military inflation and losing our competitiveness,” the politician noted. According to him, before the start of the Ukrainian conflict, the European Union paid 300 billion euros for oil and gas annually, while in 2022 the amount of payments amounted to 653 billion euros. Orban also said that Western companies do not seek to leave Russia – for example, out of 1.4 thousand Western companies, only 8.5 percent left, while the rest paid taxes in the amount of $ 3.5 billion. Earlier, Russia decided to help Kazakhstan with the supply of gasoline. In particular, the Russian company Gazprom Neft began supplying AI-95 gasoline to Kazakhstan amid the risk of a fuel shortage due to repair work at oil refineries.
