According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Sevastopol), specialists from the engineering and technical group of the OMON “Berkut-S” of the Russian Guard who arrived at the scene conducted an examination and found out that this was a German SC-50 bomb from the Second World War weighing 50 kilograms. However, the state of the fuse did not allow further transportation of the bomb. This is due to the fact that the excavator bucket tooth hit the fuse, breaking the nut holding the fuse itself and tearing it off.
