State Duma deputies from the LDPR want to achieve the abolition of personal income tax (PIT) for citizens who earn less than 30 thousand rubles a month. They plan to submit the relevant bill for consideration on Tuesday, June 27, TASS reports.
It is noted that in this way it is planned to finalize the law “On Amendments to Article 217 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation”, introducing amendments that will allow establishing a zero personal income tax rate for Russians whose monthly earnings do not exceed 30 thousand rubles. According to the authors of the initiative, thanks to this, Russians with low wages will be able to improve their standard of living, as they will be able to save more money. Earlier it became known that the State Duma in the first reading approved a bill introducing a single personal income tax rate for employees who work remotely for Russian companies both in the country and abroad.
