In St. Petersburg, a fire broke out near a gas station as a result of arson. Footage from the scene appeared at the disposal of Izvestia on June 20.

It is noted that the hooligans laid a path of fluff to the gas station, after which they set fire to it. The fire could provoke a strong explosion if a spark hit the fuel.

The footage shows how the burning fluff was put out by the gas station employees. They extinguished the fire before the fire reached the fuel storage areas.

It is not yet known whether an investigation will be carried out in this case. No casualties were reported.

Earlier, on June 15, a major fire broke out near the Ladozhsky railway station in St. Petersburg. Izvestia‘s source clarified that old brick houses caught fire in the area of house 44 on Obukhovskaya Oborona Avenue.Share:
