Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter urged not to believe the information that Russia has fewer tanks than Ukraine. He spoke about this on the air of the YouTube channel US Tour of Duty.
Comparing the number of armored vehicles in service with the Russian army and the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), he pointed to the fact that Moscow produces more than a hundred modern tanks per month, while Kiev does not produce anything on its own, relying on supplies from Western allies. In addition, the ex-intelligence officer noted that foreign tanks on the front line were destroyed. “Russia, meanwhile, has more than enough tanks,” Ritter concluded. Earlier, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter predicted that Russian troops would burn the Challenger 2 tanks that the UK handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He called it good news that the Ukrainian military has only 14 of these tanks with low survivability.
