    International Army Games 2022 wrap up in Russia

    MOSCOW, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) — The closing ceremony of the 2022 International Military Games was held at the Patriot Military and Patriotic Park of Moscow Oblast on Saturday.

    The tank biathlon finals were held on the Alabino training ground on Saturday afternoon. The Chinese team placed second in this competition. The 2022 International Military Games started on August 13. The games were held in the territories of 12 countries, including China, Russia and Iran. More than 270 teams from 37 countries and regions participated in the games.This year, the Chinese military sent nine teams overseas to participate in competitions in Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Algeria and in Uzbekistan. The International Military Games, launched by the Russian Defense Ministry, served as an international platform for the military to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation.
