    According to the publication, Tokyo is also seeking to minimize the gap with China, which, according to the analysis of the US Department of Defense, is armed with about 1.9 thousand ground-based medium-range ballistic missiles and about 3 thousand medium-range cruise missiles, capable of reaching Japan.

    To do this, Japanese companies that deal with defense orders will have to increase production and expand production lines.
