The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, published a video on Telegram in which he invited fighters from the private military company (PMC) Wagner to Chechen units.
“The Wagner PMC has very good, courageous, necessary people, including those we need, because they know the area,” he said, promising that if they agree to stay, the fighters will be given better conditions. Kadyrov noted that they are familiar with local commanders, in particular with Akhmat leader Alti Alaudinov, as well as State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov. “You can contact them – any group, the number does not matter. We will create the best conditions for you,” the head of the republic emphasized. Kadyrov also expressed confidence that units of the Chechen special forces “Akhmat” would take Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut) under control in the near future. He added that the fighters are ready to move into the city and are waiting for the appropriate order.
