Russian actor Danila Kozlovsky said he was going “on vacation” until the end of 2023 due to personal circumstances. He announced this in his Telegram channel.
“May performances at the MDT Theater of Europe, with my participation, have been cancelled. The relevant information is already on the theatre’s website,” the 38-year-old artist added in the publication (the author’s spelling and punctuation have been retained). In April of this year, Vitaly Borodin, head of the Federal Project for Security and Combating Corruption, sent a request to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation with a request to check Kozlovsky under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. In an appeal addressed to Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, it was separately stated that after the start of the military special operation, the actor left for the United States and plans to return to Russia in order to work on the stages of theaters in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Kozlovsky, in turn, filed a suit for the protection of honor and dignity against Borodin, but the court refused to accept it.
