Lukashenka confessed to the order to “print money”

    Published on

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that in the 1990s he ordered the National Bank to “print money” that was missing from the budget. The corresponding speech of the head of the republic was shown by the ONT TV channel.

According to the Belarusian leader, they were tasked in no case to divide the farms “into small things” and return the debts to the people.

“Today I can honestly say that then I gave an order to the chairman of the National Bank, Petr Petrovich Prokopovich: where there is not enough, we will print,” Lukashenko admitted. The money was “printed”, given to agricultural projects, the President of Belarus noted.

“Only thanks to the patience of the Belarusians, well, and our perseverance. Let’s go and go. That is, agriculture worked,” he added.

Earlier, Lukashenka spoke about the dream of creating a pan-Slavic state. “I have always said since the 90s that there are Slavic states. I saw Poles, Slovaks, Bulgarians and others there, too,” he said. According to him, despite the fact that everyone lives in their own country, the connection between them should not be lost.
