British actor Ray Stevenson, who played in Marvel’s Thor films, has died while filming in Italy, La Repubblica newspaper writes.
As the publication clarified, on Saturday, May 20, the artist felt unwell and went to the hospital on the island of Ischia, located in the Tyrrhenian Sea. There he participated in the filming of the film. For several days in the clinic, his condition did not improve. Stevenson died at the age of 59 on May 22. The exact cause of the actor’s death has not yet been disclosed. The actor is known to viewers for his roles as legionnaire Titus Pullon in the TV series Rome and Volstagg in the Marvel films about Thor. In addition, he played roles in the TV series Vikings, Dexter, Medici, films Divergent, The Book of Eli, The Irishman. British actor Victor Gallucci, known for his role as detective Tom Baker in the TV series Purely English Murder, died at the age of 82.
