On September 25, it became known that Mineev had received a summons. He said that he would go to the military registration and enlistment office, as he belongs to the first category of registration. The athlete emphasized that, most likely, he would serve in intelligence.

In October 2021, Vladimir Mineev defeated Magomed Ismailov by knockout in a duel at the AMC Fight Nights tournament. He held onto the organization’s middleweight championship belt. In total, he won 16 victories in MMA with a single defeat and one draw.
