    Published on

Morocco takes a neutral position on the conflict in Ukraine, maintaining good relations with both sides. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Nasser Burita, reports MAP.

He made such a statement during a press conference following a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba. “Morocco is in no way a party to the conflict in Ukraine. Morocco has good relations with both Russia and Ukraine,” Burita stressed. He added that Morocco was concerned about the conflict, as it, in particular, had a negative impact on the country’s economy. The minister stressed that the state insists on a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. Earlier it was reported about the intention of Morocco to provide military assistance to Kyiv. An African country will transfer spare parts for T-72 tanks to Ukraine.
