    Obninsk boxer Yegorov lost the fight for the world title

    Obninsk boxer Alexei Yegorov lost the fight for the WBA world heavyweight title to Arsen Gulamiryan. The duel took place on the night of Sunday, November 20. By decision of the judges, after 12 rounds, the victory was awarded to Gulamiryan. Egorov looked very confident in the first rounds. However, after a missed blow to the liver, he slowed down and gave the advantage to his opponent. The duel turned out to be interesting and tense.

    Aleksey Egorov is the mandatory contender for the WBA super champion title. The French boxer Arsen Gulamiryan continues to hold the belt. The fight was scheduled for December 2021. However, due to the illness of the Frenchman, it was canceled.
