Co-chairman of the Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth party and writer Zakhar Prilepin may undergo another operation to help him recover faster. This was reported in the press service of the politician, Interfax writes.

Doctors now assess the condition of the publicist as stable. “On the recommendation of doctors, he remains in the intensive care unit. Sensitivity and movements in the toes are preserved, ”Prilepin’s press service said in a statement. Doctors continue to diagnose and monitor the writer’s condition. Earlier, Prilepin said that he came to his senses after an operation that lasted 4.5 hours. According to him, this procedure was not the last, as he has several more complex fractures and other injuries. In addition, on May 14 it became known that after the restoration, the writer was going to return to the zone of the special operation. The car, in which Zakhar Prilepin and his 27-year-old security guard Alexander Shubin were, was blown up on May 6 near the village of Pionerskoye in the Nizhny Novgorod region. As a result of the assassination attempt, the publicist received numerous injuries, and his companion died. The Investigative Committee of Russia qualified the incident as a terrorist attack.
