Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov published footage showing the aftermath of the shelling of the village of Ilek-Penkovka. He posted the corresponding post in his Telegram channel.

The photographs show a residential private house with a destroyed roof. Fragments of a house lie near the building: bricks, wooden structures and pipes.

The shelling of the village of Ilek Penkovka was previously reported by Vyacheslav Gladkov. According to him, shell fragments damaged one private residential building, two cars, as well as electricity and gas supply lines. On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special operation in the Donbass. Thus, according to him, Moscow responded to requests for military assistance from the heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR).
