“Our adversaries that I mentioned – people with neo-colonial thinking, idiots in fact – do not understand that it is this diversity that makes us stronger,” said the President.

As a confirmation of his position on the rallying of a multinational people against the backdrop of aggression by foreign states, the Russian leader cited as an example the participants in Russia‘s special military operation in Ukraine. “We see what aggressive external pressure is now being exerted on Russia, on our entire society. Almost the entire arsenal is directed against us – economic, military, political, informational, and the most powerful anti-Russian propaganda has been deployed. Attacks on our history, culture, spiritual values ​​do not stop,” Putin said.

According to the head of state, the opponents would like to divide the Russian Federation into dozens of parts. Putin explained this desire by the impossibility of the authorities of these states themselves to cope with the emerging problems in the migration sphere. So foreign states want to create similar problems for Moscow, Putin believes.

During the meeting, Nadezhda Demeter, Chairman of the Federal National-Cultural Autonomy of Russian Gypsies, complained about the use of the term “Infogypsies”.

This term is used, saying about bloggers and coaches who sell courses, trainings or books that do not carry any real value. According to Dementer, representatives of the ethnic group are offended by such a comparison.

“It is necessary to ban the use of the term “infogypsies” on the Internet and block resources for this. The Russian language is quite rich, and you can find synonyms,” she said.

Putin agreed and called for an end to xenophobia against Roma by banning the use of such a term in the state media.
