    Report: China's renewable energy jobs will account for more than 40% of global jobs in 2021

    New York, September 22 According to a report jointly released by the International Renewable Energy Agency and the International Labour Organization on the 22nd, the global renewable energy jobs will reach 12.7 million in 2021, and China will account for it. 42% of the global total.

    report that more and more countries are creating Employment opportunities, with almost two-thirds of jobs coming from Asia, with China alone accounting for 42% of the global total, followed by the EU and Brazil with 10% each, followed by the US and India with 7% each.

    The report also shows that solar is the fastest growing renewable energy sector, providing 4.3 million jobs last year, accounting for more than a third of all global renewable energy jobs.

    Renewable energy jobs are resilient and have proven to be a reliable source of job creation despite global challenges, said Francisco LaCamera, Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency engine. He advised governments to pursue various industrial policies to encourage more renewable energy jobs at home.

    The report states that China is the leading solar photovoltaic panel manufacturing and installation country, and that offshore wind power is creating more and more jobs. Europe currently accounts for about 40% of the global wind power equipment manufacturing capacity and is the most important exporter of wind power equipment.
