From the side of the regime of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, there are threats to relatives of Rosenergoatom specialists working at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). On June 30, Izvestiya was told by the head of the movement “We are with Russia”, the head of the commission of the RF OP on issues of sovereignty, patriotic projects and support for veterans, elected from the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov.

“Everything is still at the ZNPP, the situation is normal, Russian specialists and other people are at their workplaces, continue to work, despite blackmail and threats, as well as all sorts of provocations from the regime (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelensky. First of all, these provocations are directed not so much towards the people who work at ZNPP, who re-signed contracts with Rosenergoatom, but towards their loved ones,” he said.

Rogov explained that many station workers have relatives in territories controlled by the Zelensky regime.

“And regularly their relatives and friends are told there that their relatives will be detained, imprisoned, or measures will be taken because a person is a traitor, someone else, and so on. That is, it sounds constantly, and there are hundreds of cases of this kind. People share this with us, but here you won’t even help, because these people are on the other side, unfortunately, on the side controlled by the Zelensky regime, and we cannot influence this,” he said.“The enemy is not so active on our territory today” Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye region Evgeny Balitsky on the activities of the DRG, the Ukrainian counteroffensive and the upcoming elections that ZNPP employees were allegedly ordered to leave the plant before July 5 is not true.

Prior to this, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine disseminated information that the station personnel allegedly received an order to leave for the Crimea before July 5. According to him, three employees of Rosatom and several other employees of the plant have already left ZNPP.

On June 30, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Kyiv was preparing to commit a terrorist attack at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

ZNPP is the largest NPP in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity. The object came under the control of Russia following the results of the referendum on the reunification of the Zaporozhye region with the Russian Federation. Since the beginning of September 2022, the power plant has been under the supervision of IAEA staff.Share:
