Governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev spoke about the condition of a policeman who was wounded as a result of shooting by an unknown person in camouflage at the exit from the city of Novoshakhtinsk – his condition is assessed as moderate. Golubev wrote about this on December 6 in his Telegram channel. He was taken to the city hospital. A team of vascular surgeons was sent to Novoshakhtinsk from the Rostov Regional Clinical Hospital to assist him. Experts characterize the state of the police officer as moderate,” wrote the Rostov governor.

Golubev also noted that operational-search activities are currently being carried out in the city and the suburbs, which are regularly reported to him .

Earlier that day, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Rostov Region reported that at about 12:00 an unknown person in camouflage uniform opened fire on police officers at the exit from the city of Novoshakhtinsk, after who fled the scene. One of the policemen was shot.
