When the draft treaty began to take on an acceptable shape, Kyiv interrupted the negotiation process. Obviously at the behest of Western curators who do not need peace, ”he said in an interview with TASS.

The director of the department pointed out that the more the negotiations are postponed, the further their starting point shifts, and not in favor of the Ukrainian regime. will not. He stressed that the Kyiv authorities should respect the will of the population.

Earlier, on October 7, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalyn said that negotiations between Russia and Ukraine could resume. He noted that “the larger issue really is a new deal between Russia and the Western world.” Konstantin Gavrilov said that the United States and NATO are inciting Ukraine to abandon negotiations and continue hostilities. Thus, according to the diplomat, the West puts European security at stake.

The day before, Kyiv officially abandoned negotiations with Moscow. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky enforced the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of the country on the impossibility of holding negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. According to the results of the referendums in the liberated territories, Putin called on Kyiv to immediately stop hostilities and return to the negotiating table.
