In the largest port of France in Le Havre, seven boats caught fire. It is reported by TF1 INFO on April 8.
According to the publication, a fire broke out in the engine of one of the boats when the owner turned on the ignition. There were five people on board who left the ship. However, the flames spread to neighboring boats.
17 people were examined by doctors because they inhaled smoke. Emergency services are on the scene.
Last October, a superyacht burned down on the Australian island of Hamilton. It took firefighters two hours to contain the flames.
In August, in the Turkish city of Alanya, a fire broke out on four excursion ships at once. The ships were moored on the beach in the Turkler area, one pleasure boat initially caught fire, but in a short time the fire spread to three neighboring boats.
