BEIJING, Dec. 4 — Military recruitment for the first half of 2023 started on Dec. 1, 2022. The enrollment schedule is a bit different for male and female applicants. The registration of male soldiers has already started on December 1, 2022, with the deadline of February 10, 2023, while female candidates can register from January 1, 2023 to February 10, 2023.

The basic conditions of recruitment being unchanged, recruiting primarily targets college graduates as usual, and maintains the priority channel for enrollment of college graduates. Graduates of higher technical schools and technician colleges with nationally recognized qualifications are also qualified to take advantage of the priority channel when registering for enlistment. Enlisted college graduates, final year students and undergraduate students will benefit from an intuition allowance and a student loan repayment fund provided by the central government. High school graduates who were admitted to colleges and universities in the same year will have their admission diploma retained after joining the military and will benefit from the national tuition deduction or waiver policy after downgrading.
