The first stage of the “Safe Ice” campaign is being held in the Irkutsk region. 1.5 thousand people were involved in activities aimed at ensuring the safety of people at water bodies.
About 500 interdepartmental groups patrol possible places of exit and exit to the ice. The groups include rescuers, GIMS inspectors, police officers, prosecutors, representatives of administrations and departments. They explain safety rules to citizens and seek to prevent incidents related to the failure of people and equipment under the ice. This was reported by IA IrkutskMedia.
Also, prevention groups were sent to educational institutions and recreation centers. 150 lessons on safety rules at water bodies were held in 72 schools. At eight recreation centers, briefings were carried out with employees.
