    Published on

Former Polish President Lech Walesa said that he lacks his pension because he has a lot of expenses. He said this in an interview with the Super Express newspaper.

According to him, earlier his pension was 5-6 thousand zlotys (96-116 thousand rubles), but about six months ago, payments increased to 11 thousand zlotys (212 thousand rubles). However, despite not being promoted, he still has to earn extra money, Walesa complained. “Now it’s a little better, but everything has risen in price, so it’s about the same,” he said. The ex-leader of Poland clarified that he travels the world with lectures. He also added that he sometimes helps his children, although he stressed that his daughters and sons “have become much more independent.” The publication itself noted that Walesa’s pension, compared to ordinary Poles, is “giant”. Earlier, Lech Walesa said that his wife takes all the funds from him, she is also engaged in the purchase of products. “I’m glad I don’t have to see these colossal prices for groceries on store shelves. Nevertheless, they are purchased at my expense, ”he said.
