Russia is capable of continuing its military operation (NVO) in Ukraine “over a long distance,” said Bruno Kahl, head of Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service (BND). TASS writes about this with reference to the DPA agency.
As the politician clarified, the intelligence service does not see that the conflict has somehow shaken the authority of the Russian state. He added that German intelligence knew about Moscow’s plans to start the NVO two weeks before February 24, 2022. According to the BND, German special agents recorded “phenomena that could hardly be interpreted in any other way.” “Russia, as before, remains able to conduct NMD over a long distance,” he pointed out. Earlier it became known that by the end of this year Ukraine will receive two more German-made IRIS-T air defense systems.
