JSC “Danone Russia” was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Chechnya and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Yakub Zakriev, the changes are reflected on July 18 in the SPARKS database.
“The head of the company has changed from Cappetti Charlie Victor Henrikus to Zakriev Yakub Salmanovich, the position is General Director,” the data says.
The decree, according to which the assets of the French holding Danone and the Danish Carlsberg in the Russian Federation are transferred under the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency, was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on July 16.
Earlier it became known that the Russian assets of foreign companies Carlsberg and Danone received new managers. As Izvestia found out, Taimuraz Bolloev was appointed president of the Baltika brewing company. The personnel changes were confirmed by the press service of Baltika. Andrey Astafurov, head of the tax practice of the Arbat Moscow Bar Association, also noted that the change of the head of a company that is under external control is a standard phenomenon. According to him, the company’s shares are managed by a new operator, he must be sure that the management does not oppose him.
The French food company Danone at the beginning of March 2022 announced the suspension of investment projects in the Russian Federation. Later, in October of the same year, the Danone press service announced the decision to transfer control over the dairy products business in Russia.
At the same time, the Carlsberg concern, which owns the Baltika brewing company in Russia, announced the sale of all its assets in the Russian Federation and the withdrawal from the Russian market. The company’s brand portfolio includes the brands Carlsberg, Tuborg, Holsten, Kronenbourg 1664, Baltika, Somersby and others. The company has 8.4 thousand employees in Russia.Share:
