Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, said that the business itself will choose which digital asset to trade in: bitcoin, ethereum or another. The Central Bank confirmed that the issue of cross-border transactions with digital assets is being worked out.

    The Ministry of Finance of Russia and the Central Bank have rethought approaches to regulating the cryptocurrency market and are going to allow their use in the near future. The measure will affect settlements outside the country.
