Video from a helmet-mounted camera was provided by a serviceman of the Central Military District with the call sign Almaz. He said that the enemy fired at their group from an automatic grenade launcher in the Kremennaya area. As a result, Commander Brokha received shrapnel wounds in both legs and arm. Despite the ongoing shelling, Almaz and a colleague provided first aid and requested evacuation. In the end, they managed to escape without loss. Earlier it became known that Russian military doctors rescued a Ukrainian soldier taken prisoner. The platoon commander was abandoned in the Orekhovo area without the support of equipment. The prisoner was given urgent medical care. The wounded man said that his family was waiting for him at home. In April, the head of the Training Center for Tactical Medicine (UCTM) of the Kalashnikov concern, Artem Katulin, spoke about the problems with training fighters in the basics of first aid in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). According to him, many amputations could have been avoided if the hemostatic tourniquet was applied correctly.
