In the Krasno-Limansky direction, the Russian military stopped attempts to break through the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on Saturday, November 19, by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.

He specified that the Ukrainian military could not attack Russian troops near the villages of Chernopopovka and Ploshchanka in the LPR. Konashenkov claims that thanks to the preemptive actions of Russian units, an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break forward was thwarted. As a result, up to 50 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three infantry fighting vehicles and two armored vehicles were liquidated.

In addition, as noted, Russian troops destroyed more than 120 Ukrainian soldiers in the DPR. In addition, two tanks, three armored fighting vehicles and seven vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed there. The DPR also spoke about the advance of Russian troops along the entire front line.

Over the past day, the Russian military also shot down ten unmanned aerial vehicles of Ukraine in the DPR and LPR. It was clarified that enemy drones were hit near Kremennaya and Novokrasnyanka in the LPR, as well as Novotroitsky, Maksimovka, Olginka and Vugledar in the DPR.

On February 24, the start of a special operation in the Donbass was announced. Thus, Russia responded to requests for military assistance from the heads of the DNR and LNR.
