Law enforcement agencies have detained the second suspect in blowing up the car of politician and writer Zakhar Prilepin. It is reported by REN-TV in Telegram.

According to the sources of the TV channel, the man was caught combing the forest, which is located near the site of the explosion. Earlier it was also reported about the detention of the first suspect – he confessed. It is noted that at the moment searches are being carried out in Moscow at the addresses indicated by the detained men. The explosion of the Audi Q7 car, in which Prilepin and his 27-year-old driver Alexander Shubin were, occurred on May 6 in the Nizhny Novgorod region. As a result of the incident, Shubin died, and the writer received numerous injuries. The Investigative Committee of Russia qualified the incident as a terrorist attack. The terrorist organization from Ukraine “Atesh” took responsibility for the explosion.
