    The survey showed the desire of Russians to work in a hybrid format

    Approximately half of Russians (49%) prefer a hybrid work format because of the opportunity to strike a balance between working at the office and at home, save money and time for work, and also stay desire at home. This is indicated by the results of a survey of the Rabota.ru service, which Izvestia got acquainted with on August 16.

    3.2 thousand service users over 18 years of age took part in the study regions of Russia that are currently employed. Analysts have found that 58% of Russians surveyed currently work in the office. Almost one in five (24%) continues to work in a hybrid format, and 18% – remotely.

    It also became known that employers of 88% of survey participants do not plan to transfer employees to remote mode work. Another 11% of respondents said that the employer is ready to transfer only part of the employees to remote work. The company’s plans to transfer employees to a remote format were reported by 1% of respondents.

    Russians chose the hybrid format as the most convenient and productive work format – 49% of respondents voted for it. The main advantages of this format include the balance between work in the office and at home (63%), saving money and time on the road (46%) and the ability to stay at home if desired or necessary (44%). Also, the respondents indicated the opportunity to change the situation and periodically communicate personally with colleagues.

    Every third survey participant (30%) voted for working from the office and noted that it is easier to concentrate on tasks in the office (76%) and resolve issues faster in a personal conversation (55%). Another advantage of working from the office, the Russians called the lack of distractions (52%). Of the other advantages of office work, the Russians surveyed noted the possibility of communicating with colleagues, a comfortable workplace and control over work processes by management and colleagues. because with this mode there is no need to spend time and money on the road (75%). In addition, 62% of participants noted that the workplace at home is more convenient (62%), and there are also no distractions (61%). At the same time, respondents noted the lack of control, which prevents them from concentrating on the task, and the motivation to complete work tasks faster.

    On July 27, Deputy General Director of Rabota.ru Alexander Veterkov told Izvestia , in which cases the employee has the right to demand payment for overtime hours and how to do it correctly. According to the expert, payment for overtime is provided for by the Labor Code. Under the law, overtime work is paid for the first two hours at least one and a half times, and for the following hours – at least twice the amount. Also, at the request of the employee, instead of increased pay, overtime can be compensated by providing additional rest time.
