    New York, September 26 The three major stock indexes in the New York stock market fell significantly on the 26th.

    As of the close of the day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 329.60 points from the previous trading day to close at 29260.81 points, or 1.11%; the S&P 500 stock index fell 38.19 points to close at 3655.04 points , a decrease of 1.03%; the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 65 points to close at 10802.92 points, a decrease of 0.60%.

    In terms of sectors, the eleven major sectors of the S&P 500 index fell and rose. The real estate and energy sectors led losses by 2.63% and 2.57%, respectively, while the consumer staples sector gained 0.01%.
