Two residents of Oryol stole 330 thousand rubles from a pawnshop using fake documents for a car on bail

Two residents of the city of Livny will stand trial for fraud. With regard to men, the investigative committee of the Oryol region has already completed an investigation.

As the press service of the department said, 40-year-old and 33-year-old men in the summer of 2017 deceived the pawnshop’s money in the amount of 330 thousand rubles. They did it with the help of fictitious documents for cars, which they gave on bail. They did not return the funds within the time period established by the contract.

In addition, in the spring of 2018, a 40-year-old Oryol resident received from his friend a car worth more than 474,000 rubles for use. He appropriated it without the consent of the owner, and subsequently sold it. In the summer of 2021, the man promised the resident of Liven to repair the car, but, having abused his trust, he did not do this and stole the money transferred to him for repairs in the amount of 95,000 rubles.

The criminal cases were referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
