Evgenia Skidan, convicted by a Ukrainian court, accused the Ukrainian security forces of fabricating cases against the wives of the militiamen of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti .

According to the woman, her common-law husband Alexei served at the Donetsk airport on a rotational basis, spent ten days in positions, ten were on vacation, during which they were housed in the former building of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk. The wife visited her husband, they took pictures against the background of the Russian flag in the DPR, after which they posted the footage on the network.

Skidan, who lived in the territory controlled by Kyiv, said that in October 2015 she was fight against organized crime (OBOP) of the city of Krasnoarmeysk. The woman was accused of allegedly handing over weapons and drugs to her “accomplice”, which she had not seen.

The court sentenced Skidan to a suspended sentence, but after the first interrogations, when she was released home, she warned her husband about possible provocations, after which they no longer communicated. The woman spent eight years in prison under a criminal article.

Earlier in Odessa, a man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for high treason for hanging a Russian flag on one of the houses in the city. This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) of Ukraine.
