Russian service of short videos VK Clips summed up the results of 2022. Over 20 million new videos have been added to the platform this year.

“Viewers liked videos on our platform 50 percent more in 2022 than in 2021. We are glad that a large number of authors and viewers have chosen VK Clips as a meeting place for impressions – this motivates us to achieve even greater victories, ”said Marina Krasnova, CEO of VKontakte, VK Clips and VK Video.

The most popular video of the outgoing year was the video of the musician Yan Dilan, which collected more than 10.3 million views and over 273 thousand reactions. “Valeria Chekalina (Lerchek) became the leader in terms of “I like” marks: in a year, users left more than 6 million hearts under her videos,” the press release notes.

Most of all comments – more than 5.4 thousand – the video from Lera_Danya scored, and Marie Dobro became the most popular clipper in terms of total views and reactions. The top most popular tracks by total views were Belly Dancer by Imanbek and BYOR, Follow Your Heart by idenline and Kate Melody and Balenciaga by FILV.

By total number of views and publications this year in The top hashtags were #humor – 606.3 million views, #cats – 279.1 million and #love – 38.7 million.
